Eric L. Jiles Sr., 45, was born March 18th, 1973 to Linda Faye Jiles McDonald Womack in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, Keyta McDonald of Kansas City, Missouri. Also, his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Minnie Mae Thompson-Jiles of Springhill, Louisiana.
Eric received his education in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri at Northeast High School. Then later, received his General Education Diploma.
Eric accepted Christ at an early age at Faith Mission Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Reverend Hubert Lambert, Sr.
Eric was a proud member of Laborer Local Union 264 since September 2012. He celebrated his four-year anniversary at J.E. Dunn on July 16th, 2018. Eric was very devoted and dedicated to Union 264 and J.E. Dunn. Over the years, he gained a new family within both.
Eric loved working out and enjoyed style and fashion; which made his style exclusive and exquisite. He loved his only child and would do anything for his son. He enjoyed calling his family members in the late hours of the early morning; which of course, everyone would still answer those calls… He always had a joke for them!
Eric departed this earthly life on Monday, July 16th, 2018.
Eric leaves to cherish his memories to his loving significant other, LaQuala Russell. One son, Eric Jiles Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri. Also, one stepson, Tyree William Jr. Two brothers and one sister: Aundra Jiles, Kenton McDonalds, and LaTrice McDonald of Kansas City, Missouri. Two uncles: James Jiles of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Charles Jiles of Los Angeles, California. Five aunts: Johnnie Mae (Larry) of Los Angeles, California; Elizabeth A. London of Los Angeles, California; Wanda Jiles of Kansas City, Missouri; Debra Watkins of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Tammy Richardson of Minneapolis, Minnesota. One nephew and niece, Eric McDonald and LaPresha McDonald. One cousin, Pamela (Herman) Bankhead. And one special cousin, Roderick “HotRide” Jiles. He also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
Eric will be truly missed by those whose life he touched!
