Erica LaTres’ Jones Good was born January 14,1976, in Kansas City, Missouri, and was the beloved daughter of Beverly Jones and Dewayne Morris. Erica departed her life and went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2024.

Erica was preceded in death by her daughter Ke’Air Good, great-great-grandmother, Matilda Jones, aunt, Mary Jones, and cousins Ronald Jones, Iteria McMillan, and Annie Galloway

She accepted Christ at an early age. Erica was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the of leadership Pastor Artist Taylor, where she served as part of the youth and mass choirs. Erica attended the Kansas City, Missouri Public School District and graduated from Southwest High School, class of 1994, where she formed a lifelong friendship and developed a passion for life. Erica was employed by The City of Kansas City MO 311 Call for Action Customer Service Representative and later transferred to the Civil Rights & Equal Opportunity Department for 13 years.

She had a passion for baking pastries, pies etc. Erica was a loving wife, and mother to her daughter, Ka’Leah. She loved her family and friends. Erica thought everyone should have been as happy as she was. Erica smile would just light up the room. Her favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Erica was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a Sweet Spirit about herself and she will truly be missed.

Erica was married to Kenyel Good for 23 years.

Erica leaves to cherish in her memories her husband, Kenyel Good, her daughter, Ka’Leah Good, mother, Beverly Jones, father, Dewayne Morris, one brother, Quincy Jones Sr., aunt, Elizabeth Whitley (Thomas Whitley), two uncles, Bruce Jones, and Dobie Strong (Desire), grandmother, Rosie Jones of Rochester, NY, god-sister, Charmine Webb (Pooh), mother-in-law, Mary Louise Good, one great-aunt, Marion Richardson, two great-uncles, Charles Stokes McCorvey (Doris) and Willie Jones, one nephew, Quincy Jones Jr., one niece, LaBre Jones, her favorite cousin, Jeffery Jones, a special cousin, Pastor Kent McMillan of North Carolina, five sisters-in-law, Niesha Kershaw, Chante Ragsdale, Ny’Jay Fall, Talisha Good, and Ja’Ann Ragsdale,  a special friend to the family, Brian Naves, best friend, Cindy Estrada, and a host of special sister friends, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
