Errol Richard Warren, 85, passed away February 20, 2025 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on January 4, 1940 in Kansas City, MO and was the only child to Clifford A. Warren and Zelda M. Warren. He grew up in Kansas City, MO, lived in Raytown, MO, and spent the final years of his life in Lee's Summit, MO. He began working for the Social Security Administration, he also worked for the Treasury Department, Department of Agriculture, Housing Authority, Full Employment Council, Mid-America Regional Council, and Department of Aging. He spent his final years of his career working for Group 53 and assisting with the facilitation of the Black and Minority Expos. In 1947, Errol met Vesta A. Allen in grade school and they were later married in 1959. They welcomed 4 sons into their lives, Clifford, Kevin, Craig, and Christopher. Last year, Errol and Vesta celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Errol always wanted to help people in need. He was big on communication and his presence was known every time he walked into a room. He never met a stranger. He had a strong love for music from jazz to R&B and he enjoyed showing family and friends all of his favorite music videos on YouTube any time they came over to visit him.  He enjoyed his family to the fullest extent and always wanted his family around. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan. His hobbies included touring homes, architectural design, home décor, and lawn & landscaping. His home was a special place for him; he enjoyed decorating and setting it up for entertaining family and friends. He was an excellent dresser, he loved fashion, clothes, and cars. He passed his love for those things along to his four sons. Errol also loved food, from BBQ, to a Kitty's tenderloin, or a chicken fried steak from Church's Chicken. He had an amazing personality and could always put a smile on your face. He is survived by his wife, Vesta A. Warren, his sons, Clifford A. Warren, Kevin A. Warren (Maria Delgado), Craig A.
