Estelle M. Shockley, 73, departed this life on December 27, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Medical Center, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on April 17, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl Davis and Mildred Kimble Davis.
She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Manual High School. Later, she began working for Topsy’s International as an Accounts Payable Clerk where she worked for 20 years, She then worked for Superior Linen for 17 years until her transition to be with the Lord.
Her hobbies were bowling, softball, camping, collecting turtles, and Nicki Fit Kickboxing. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she sung in the Inspirational and Mass Choirs under the leadership of Pastor E .A. Johnson. After the transition of Pastor Johnson, she continued to serve as a dedicated member under Pastor Donald Givens.
She married Robert Lewis in Kansas City, Missouri. They were happily married for 5 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Earl Davis and Mildred Kimble Davis; her husband: Robert Lewis; her brothers: Eddie Kimble, Frank Davis, and Larry Davie: and her sisters: Marsha Green, Connie Davis, and Debra Davis-Duren.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son: Deon Lewis; special niece: Ajinah Davis; special nephew: Frank Davis; brothers: Michael Davis, Steve Davis, and Jeffrey Davis; her sisters: Sheryl Davis, and Kimberly Davis: and her beloved turtle: Houston.
