Eugene Herron

Eugene Herron, 60, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee Summit, Missouri.  He was born on March 20, 1963 to Lee C. Herron Sr. and Mattie Herron.  Eugene grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  He attended and graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1982. After graduating he attended Job Corp in Salt Lake City Utah in 1983-1984 where he received a certificate in Culinary Arts and began work for Trinity Lutheran Hospital.  His last place of employment was at Research Psychiatric Center where he worked as a cook until his health started to change.  Eugene then spent the last 7 years in a care facility.  Eugene will be truly missed by his family and friends. He never met a stranger, no matter where he was, he always would at least know one person in the crowd.  Eugene also liked to dress to impress and ride stylish and always kept a clean Cadillac.

He was preceded into death by his father, Lee C. Herron Sr.; daughters, Angel Herron and Crystal Monique Rayner; Freddie Herron; granddaughter, Antoinette “Libby” Brenson; and nephew, Jerald Blake Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Mattie Herron; wife, Tuesday Herron; children, Jermaine Coleman, Antoinette Herron, Eugene Herron Jr., and Joisha Herron; grandchildren, Kyanna Herron, Kali Herron, Karson Herron, Antwaine Rayner, Enylan Herron, Calise Hardy, Arrie Anna Brenson, Aton Brenson; siblings, Lee & Aynna Herron, Benda & Gregory Robinson, Ray Herron, Patrick Parks and a host of other relatives and friends.
