Eugene Hill

Eugene Hill, 80 years young, of Walls Mississippi/ Memphis Tennessee transitioned from this life into eternal life on June 26, 2021. He was born November 25, 1940, to the union of King Edward Hill and Ophelia Hill. He was the youngest child and only son to this union. He was preceded in death by both parents, and the uncle and aunt Albert and Lee Bowen who raised both him and his sister Essie Mae Hollowell.

Eugene Hill was educated at Delta Center High School of Walls Mississippi. Eugene Hill retired from CECO Construction Company as foreman 35 years of service. Eugene was a committed husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather to all his family whom he loved very dearly.

He leaves behind his beloved wife: Eller Mae Hill of 58 years of marriage; seven children: Barbara Jefferson, Sylvester Hill, Jennifer Hill, Ophelia Hill, Gregory Hill, and Torrey Hill, all of Kansas City, Missouri, and Sandra Springfield of Memphis Tennessee; 19 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
