Fabian Darnell Tinner was born on August 22, 1969, in Kansas City, MO to J.B. Tinner & Sharon Bandy-Tinner. He was the oldest of four children.
As a firstborn child & grandchild on both sides of the family, he was doted on by many. Fabians maternal grandmother fondly nicknamed him "Sputnik" and his sister Vera began calling him Punik. She could not pronounce his nickname, so everyone (family) began calling him Punik as well.
Fabian attended Wendell Phillips Elementary School. You could often find him in the principals' office for one reason or another. He attended High School at Lincoln, East, and Paseo, where he enjoyed playing football.
Fabian accepted Christ in 1983 along with his father.
After high school, Punik would make a decision that leads to incarceration for some years. During this time, he began a spiritual journey. He had to search for himself & not desiring to be a Christian simply because his parents were, Islam became the catalyst that kindled his inner awakening. Fabian changed his name to Malik and developed strong study habits. He learned to read, write, and speak Arabic fluently.
Sometime later he realized there was something more he was missing. From the time he returned home from incarceration, Punik had a strong urgency to restore relationships with family. He wanted to do what he could to help his loved ones become business owners & he was full of ideas, moving with purpose.
Fabian received numerous certifications, to name a few, Business Administration AAS Degree from Johnson County Community College for AAS Residential, Commercial, and Electrical heating & cooling.
He has worked as an apprentice sign installer for Bandys Sign Service, an Apartment make ready Skilled Technician, a Maintenance Mechanic for Smithfield Farmland Foods. In 2009 Fabian became the owner & operator of J.B. Tinner & Sons Heating, Cooling, & Electrical LLC. Now known as JaBez & Sons Heating, Cooling, & Electrical LLC. He obtained certification in Culinary Arts and was sanctioned by the state of Missouri to practice law, which he was currently doing.
Fabian having restored his fellowship & relationship with Jesus Christ and fulfilling his purpose is now resting in eternal peace.
Fabian is cherished & remembered by his parents, J.B. & Shirley Tinner. Three sisters, Vera "Lady" Tinner, Lashannon Thomas (Dwight), & LaKecia Foy (Shevel). His children, Donzell Williams, Fabian Vaughn (LaTrice), Jasmine Tinner, Fabianna Tinner, Fabion Tinner, Ashley Jones, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends: special friend Gina Ramirez, dear family friend & brother, Leon Davis Jr, and Kareem Rashid.
