Flay X. Bledsoe, 62, passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born on November 7, 1963, to Merrill and Rosie Bledsoe.
Flay proudly served his country in the United States Army, holding the rank of Private (PV2). During his service, he earned the Army Service Ribbon and qualified as a Marksman with the M16 rifle.
Beyond his military service, Flay was a driven entrepreneur and business owner who worked in many capacities throughout his life. His professional path included sales, realty, and mentoring others in business. He was known for his determination, leadership, and willingness to guide others toward success.
Flay was, above all, a devoted father whose greatest pride was his daughters, Aniece and Amber.
Flay was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Rosie Bledsoe; his daughter, Amber Murphy; and his brother, Bud Bledsoe.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Aniece Bledsoe; his sister, Shirley Robinson (Ephesians); his brother, Mark Bledsoe; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Flay will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his dedication to service, his laugh and the love he had for his family and friends. His legacy lives on through all who knew and loved him.
