Frances Edwards

Frances E. Edwards, 63, departed this life on August 5, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 8, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl R. Edwards, Sr. and Willa Mae Edwards.

She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Southwest High School. She began her career as the owner of Fun in The Sun Daycare, where she worked for 30+ years. She was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and loved dancing, and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Willa Mae Edwards, and her grandson, Ramell C. Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Earl Edwards, Sr, two daughters, Marnita “Nene” Edwards, and Juanita “Hone” Edwards, honorary sons, Ramon Edwards, Sr, two sisters, Melvivene “Cook-E” Edwards and Earlene “Tee” Edwards, one brother, Earl Edwards, Jr, seven grandchildren, Ariyana, Briyana, KeJuan, T’Marihana, Ramon, Jr, Xyihana, and Xyion, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
