Frances Jeanette Franklin-Cooley was born March 14, 1965, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Gunbie Franklin, Sr. and Normagene (Lyons) Franklin. She was the third child of this union and also had an older brother which made a total of four children in this family union. Frances graduated from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy in 1983. She was a proud team member of the "Lincoln Tigers Marching Cobras" in 1978. She worked at JC Penney Distribution Center before leaving work due to her illness. Frances was a member of and attended Victorious Life Church. She had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. Frances had four sons. Two sons, Geno D. Ferguson II and Anthony Mosby Jr, both babies, preceded her in death. Frances was a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many who loved her. She was a very outgoing person who loved people and also loved to talk, laugh and dance. To her peers she was sometimes known as the "Life of the Party". She also loved her sports and the color "Blue". She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, DeWayne Kenneth Franklin and Barry Victor Cooley Jr, both of Kansas City, MO; Grand- Children, Isaiah Cooley and Harmonee Cooley; Brothers, Henry E. Lyons and Gunbie Franklin II, both of MO; Sister, Daisy (Franklin) Jones, MO; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
