Frank Whitehead, Jr., born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 28, 1939 to Frank Whitehead Sr., and Neal Smith Whitehead.

He was preceded in death by both parents, and a special cousin Wilhelmena Dickson.

Frank leaves to cherish his wife of 58 years Retha Whitehead, one daughter Frankita Whitehead, one son Roderick Whitehead of Los Angeles, California, 4 grandchildren Almeta Pelton, Krystina Whitehead, Keileigh Whitehead, and Roderick Whitehead Jr., all of Kansas City, Missouri, two special cousins, Virginia Johnson of Grandview, Missouri, and Carlotta Dickson of Raymore, Missouri, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Frank received his education at Manuel High School in Kansas City, Missouri, where he received his certification for auto mechanics.

Franks employment career began at Russel Stover Candy Company as a Candy Maker. He left Russell Stover Candy Company after 8 years to open his own business as a Home Auto Mechanic. Frank always had a love for cars.

Frank was involved in several social clubs over the years. The Gear Jammers Club where he received many trophies from racing cars. The Mo-Kan Road Runners Motor Home Club and The Covered Wagon Motor Home Club. Frank was a loving husband. Frank and his wife enjoyed driving across country in his Motor Home meeting new people and building long-lasting friendships. Franks CB handle Trophy Winner 225. Frank was a licensed scuba diver. He loved to hunt, fish and water ski. Let’s not forget Frank chaperoned the Marching Cobras for many years.

Frank was the perfect father and grandfather.
