Gail Ann Griffin, 71, departed this life on April 3, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on December 15, 1953, in Frankfurt, Germany to Charles Foster and Ivo Foster.
She grew up in Karlsruhe, Germany, and Tacoma, Washington, graduating from Clover Park High School, in Tacoma, Washington. After high School, she attended Washington State University, in Pullman Washington. She later began working for Boeing as a Secretary and then transitioned to Eco Pest Services where she retired. Her hobby was agriculture.
She married Calvin Griffin on July 23, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri. They were happily married for 38 years.
Gail is preceded in death by her father, Charles Foster; her brother, Davis Foster; and her sister, Ida Bernice Foster.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Ivo Foster; husband, Calvin Griffin; children, Kena Revell, Calvin McIntosh, Talesa McIntosh, and Rasheed Griffin; sister, Charlotte Foster; grandchildren, Bryce Dickerson, Ana Sofia Jarrett, Calvin Griffin, Kennadi Collins, Keshaun Griffin, Kevaughn Griffin, Devhan Griffin, K’liyah Griffin. Kamorah Crowder. Kimber Griffin, Daryle Griffin, Anthony Ge’Re Williams, Ma’leeha Henderson, Olivia Hart-Griffin. Courtney Baker, Justin Gart, and Darion Robinson, great-grandchildren, Reagan Michelle Pace, and Brynlee Nichole Williams, and a host of other relatives and friends.
