George D. Gantt was born on May 30, 1955 to Caloude Gantt Sr. and Evelyn Gantt. His parents Caloude and Evelyn Gantt, mother Leora Gantt, daughter Victoria Lottie and brother Clifford Gantt Sr. proceed him in death.
The Lord called him home on Tuesday, October 20,2020 at Truman Medical Center.
George received his education at Paseo high school in Kansas City, MO. He was a working partner of the Gantt Campbell Franchise LLC for 23 years. He received Christ in his young adult life. He attended church at Jamison Memorial Temple CME and Good Hope Baptist.
George was a genuine, comical, hard worker, and outgoing person. He always had a smile on his face and joke on his lips His laughter was contagious. He loved to listen to Blues, Soul, and Gospel music. He also loved Sam Cooke’s music. His favorite song was “A Change is Gonna Come”. He also loved to eat. He enjoyed Gates BBQ beef sandwiches and was crazy about orange pop, peanuts, and orange slices. George will be sadly missed by family and friends but with his memories he will continue to live and never be forgotten.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Takieaa Johnson (Kansas City, Mo), and Lakeisha Lottie (Des Moines, IA). Two sons Andre Lottie (Deborah) (Des Moines, IA), and Eugene Lottie (Dallas, TX). Nine Brothers Caloude Gantt Jr, (Mitchell
Mack (Ardelia), Reginald Mack Sr, William Mack (Donna), Fredrick Mack (Christina), Anthony Haynes (Shelia), Juan Haynes, Mark Figous, and Phillip Mack Sr. Seventeen grandchildren, Four great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
