George A Green

George Allen Green, 83, passed away on May 5th at his home in Kansas City. He was born on September 14, 1935 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to Lawrence Green and Lucy Neal. He grew up in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, and graduated from the Arkansas Public Schools.

George Joined the Jackson County Sheriff Department and served for 27 years. During his years of service, he achieved the rank of Sargent. He played baseball up to the age of 75 and he love football. But there was nothing better than baseball, or the Dodgers.

He was preceded into death by his parents; Lawrence Green and Lucy Neal, three siblings; Hattie Long, Geralene Davis, and Clara Neal, his son; David, and great-grandson; Jamonte.

He is survived by two daughters; Gloria and Sondra, his son; Wilbur, and a host of nieces, nephews, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and friends.
