George V. Miller

George V. Miller passed away on June 15, 2026, at Research Medical Center in the ICU. He was born on July 19, 1939, in Chariton County, Missouri to Archie Miller and Beatrice Wright.

George grew up in Keytsville and Dalton, Missouri where he attended school and graduated.

After graduation, he moved to Kansas City, Missouri and became a truck driver for Modern Arts Lamp Company where he worked for two years. He then worked for General Motors (Leed’s Plant, KCMO) for 22 years and retired on May 1, 1991.

On August 5, 1960, he married Ethel L. Hack.

He was preceded into death by his parents, Archie Miller and Beatrice Morgan; his sister, Lucille Ford; and his brother, Martin Miller.

George is survived by his wife, Ethel Miller; one daughter, LaTaynia (Adrian) Westney; two sons, Curtis Miller and Tony Miller (Sharee); granddaughters, Katrina Morris, Erica Miller, Sydney Miller, and Nylia Miller; and one grandson, Tony Miller Jr., along with a host of great grandkids, relatives, and friends.
