Gerald Huston

Gerald Bernard Huston was born 1/3/1960 in Detroit Michigan, mother Mary Huston, Father Albert Huston both preceded him in death. He is the youngest of five siblings. Daryl Huston and Olivia also preceded him in death.

Gerald served in the US Armed forces as a Military Police. Gerald attended Officers candidate school at the University of Detroit where he met and married Elena Baxter. From this union three sons and one daughter were born. Gerald was a loving father who cared for his children tremendously. He was a great provider and hard worker, which showed in his many awards and recognitions from Sears Holding where he retired after 22 years of service.

Gerald earned his BS in business and administration and ordained as an Elder in the apostolic faith. He was quite the jokester, gregarious and loved by all who knew him.

He leaves to mourn, his wife of 36 years, Elena Baxter Huston. His three sons, Gerald Bernard Huston II, Brandon Ashford Huston, Matthew Mikhale Huston. His daughter Chelsy Brianna Huston. A special adopted daughter Dereka Atkinson. His brother, Michael Albert Huston (Dejean), Sister Deborah Johnson, a special niece Carla Yvette Huston who he affectionately calls Wink. His ten grandchildren, Kaylah, Mariah, Elena, Jailynn, Gerald III, Baylie, Milani, Chasity, Kobe, Earth (on the way) two adopted grandchildren, Cheyenne and Anthony, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
