Geraldine Booker

Geraldine Booker began her earthly life journey on December 30,1934

She was the only girl born to Jason and Anna Pearl Bridges in Dubberley Louisiana and departed this Life at Research Medical Center on Monday November 27, 2023 at 3:50 P.M.

Proceeding her in death was her Father Jason Bridges, Mother Anna Pearl Bridges, Brother Elbert Bridges, and Daughter Lorene Booker-Antwine

Her Elementary school years she attended Douglas in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Summer High School in 1951

Geraldine worked for the Kansas City ,Missouri School District for over 40 years until she retired in 1996

She joined the Palestine Missionary Baptist over 55 years ago under the Leadership of the Late Pastor Earl Able where she served on the Usher Ministry for many years and then went on join the Greeters Committee and continued serving the Lord under the Leadership of Pastor Leonard P. Butler Jr. and Pastor James Watkins Sr.

Geraldine was faithful and devoted to her family this was demonstrated by Love , Patience, and guidance that she displayed to her Love ones and others that she came in contact with

She leaves her fragrance of Life to her children: daughter, Sharon Booker -Harris (Kenny); sons, Micheal D. Booker and James A Booker all of Kansas City. Missouri; seven grandchildren, Elisha Booker -Smith , Derrick Bonds, Dejuan Bonds, Michelle Hendricks ,James Booker Jr. (JJ), Rufus Antwine Jr. and Kimberly Harris,17 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
