Gerome Dobbs Iii

Gerome Dobbs III, 65, passed away on August 13, 2022, in Kansas City, MO. He was born on March 4, 1957, in Macon, GA to Gerome Dobbs Jr. and Lucile Anderson-Dobbs. He grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Central High School. After high school he attended Penn Valley Community College until he enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1978. During his time in the military, he was the recipient of a plethora of awards.

He began work for the City of Kansas City, MO as a firefighter where he faithfully served for many years.

Gerome loved to read, sing, listen to music, and write.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Ethel Smith; his cousin, Cushmere Andersson, and Jim Anderson.

Gerome Dobbs III is survived by his parents, Gerome, and Lucile Dobbs; ex-wife, Janice Anderson; daughter, Erica Dobbs; granddaughter, Mikeyla; grandson, Syxx; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
