Glenda L Davis

Glenda Louise Davis, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on October 22, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Glen Haygood and Henirretta Taylor. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. Glenda graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Glenda Louise Davis began her lifelong position in tax services at the Internal Revenue Services for 38 years. After retiring, she continued serving friends and family in the same field of services. She married James Nelson and to this union was born two sons Kevin Nelson (Roc) who proceeded her in death on March 10, 2015 and Brian Nelson. Mrs. Davis later married Alfred Davis and to this union was born Alfred Davis (Punkin) Jr. Mrs. Davis was dedicated to her three sons Kevin Nelson, Brian Nelson and Alfred Davis (Punkin). These three boys were her heart. She cooked, cleaned, and made sure that they were dressed to the “T”. They were her world. Her son Brian Nelson and Alfred Davis (sons) survives Glenda Louise Davis. Her brothers, Marvin Haygood and Michael Haygood of Kansas City, Missouri and Eric Haygood (Brenda) of Toccopola Mississippi, also survive her. A special son Tyrone Parker (Little Darling) of Fort Worth, Texas. There is also a host of grandchildren, one great grandchild (to be) as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends.
