Glenn Wilkins

Glenn Wilkins was born on November 18, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas.  Glenn was the third of five children born to the union of Arder and Deline Wilkins.  Glenn was preceded in death by his father, one brother, and a nephew.  Glenn departed this life on Monday night, December 14, 2020.

Glenn received his education from Wyandotte High School, graduating in 1978.  He received Christ at the Free Church of God True Holiness, under the leadership of Bishop Charles W. Burchnette in 1972.

Glenn was married to Candace Marie Wilkins, and to this union two children were born; Glenn Edward, and Cameron Duane Wilkins. Glenn and Candace joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor C. L. Bachus in May of 1983. He was a faithful member in the Male Chorus, Mass Choir, attended the Men's Sunday School Class, and Usher Board.

Glenn secured a position with First National Bank, having merged combined, and changed names, the institution is now Bank of America, where he served 37 years as a Global Tech Operations Administrator until October 2016.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 38 years: Candace Marie Wilkins of Blue Springs, Missouri; two sons, Glenn Edward Wilkins, and Cameron Duane Wilkins(Christine) of Blue Springs, Missouri; six grandchildren, Davonte, Briaunna, Demetrius, Thomas, Brynlee, and Quinn, his mother Deline Wilkins; two brothers, Arder Wilkins, Jr. (Debbie), and Randolph Wilkins of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Evette Yvonne Wilkins of Kansas City, Kansas, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
