Gracie A Murray

Gracie Ann Murray, 78, passed away on June 26, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on February 23, 1941 in Higginsville, Missouri to William Martin Conaway, Jr., and Corrine Conaway.  She graduated from Manual High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

In 1959 she joined the United States Navy Wave and served for 3 years. During her time of service, she achieved the rank of 3rd Class Petty Officer.

She began work for State & Federal Government as a clerk and data processor. She was involved in community daycare and transportation.

Gracie married William Murray on June 11, 1966 and had one child.

She was preceded into death by her parents; William and Corrine Conaway, Jr., siblings; Linda Lou Heath, John Wesley Conaway, and Judith Robbin Conaway.

Gracie is survived by her son; Jason Lee Murray, siblings; Myrtle Conaway, Lillian Jackson, Faye Conaway, June Copeland, Keith Conaway and Gregory Conaway.
