Gwen was born on December 17th 1961 In Marshall, MO. to the union of Curtis L. Williams and Joan Reddick-Williams, both Parents and one sister, Amber Fellows preceded her in death.
Gwen grew up in Kansas City MO. She attended and graduated from the Winnetonka High School.
Gwen gave her life over to Christ and began her new walk with the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor A.L. Johnson Sr. In June 1992 and later under the tutelage of her current pastor Michael E. Brooks in 2000.
Gwen began her dedication to hard work At the Lake City Ammunition Plant for fifteen years before moving on to the employment at the Western Missouri Facilities at which she gave an exemplary service too, for seventeen years. She was the ultimate workaholic.
Gwen loved to read, color and travel whenever she could. She even tried ballroom dancing for a while before she became too ill.
Gwen loved her family very much, especially spending time with her nieces and nephew; they filled whatever voided her life.
She gave the best of who she was with much care to her family to set an example of how we are to be in this life, sharing, caring, and loving one another.
She mothered her precious two cats; they were her constant companions and family also .
Gwen leaves to cherish her sweet memory, three brothers, Calvin Williams, Jared Williams, and Robert Wells; two sisters, Karen (David) Thompson and Antoinette Wells, all of Kansas City MO; her step-mother Janis Williams of Kansas City MO; A very special niece Shyla (Greg) Healey, from Houston Texas, and her niece Tarrah Williams, and nephew Calvin Jr., from Kansas City, MO and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
