Harry Mock, 68, passed away on July 28, 2024, at Kings Wood Senior Living Community, in Kansas City, MO. He was born November 13, 1955, in Monroe, Louisiana to Roosevelt Mock and Sadie Mock-Carr. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, KS. After high school Harry embarked on a career as an entrepreneur, taking on a variety of roles over the years. Harry retired in 2014 after a successful 30-year career. Throughout his life, Harry was deeply involved in the community, consistently helping others and lived his best life.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Roosevelt Mock and Sadie Mock-Carr, his son Harry Mock Jr. and his brother Jimmy Shaw.
Harry is survived by his children, Telisha Grant (Willie) and Latoya Grant (Eric). His sisters Jeralene R. Hatcher (Antonio) and Debra Phillips (Bruce). His Grandchildren, Raneisha Hampton, Alexxes Grant, Tyon Grant-Foster, Trayon Grant-Foster, Trayvon Grant, Ty’Juan Grant-Foster and a host of other relatives and friends.
