Henry Edward “Bugg” Kershaw was born September 7, 1968, in Portageville, MO. He passed away on March 19, 2025, in Kansas City, KS. Bugg was the youngest of ten siblings.

"Bugg" attended Portageville Elementary School and graduated from Portageville High School.

He was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Damon Frazier, where he was baptized. Later he became a member of Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church.

Bugg moved to Kansas City, MO, attended college, and majored in electronics. He landed a job at a nearby school as a maintenance worker. He later moved back to Portageville after working in a nursing facility.

"Bugg" was also a caregiver for his mother until she passed. Bugg was a well-known handyman skilled in many areas. His knowledge was appreciated by many.

"Bugg" was preceded in death by both parents, Eugene and S.T. Kershaw; his son Antonio Kershaw; brothers Orlando Billy Kershaw, Mark Kershaw, and Julious Ray Kershaw; and sister Roberta Kershaw.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Donte Kershaw; grandson, Donte Kershaw, Jr.; brothers, Raymond Kershaw, Zachary Kershaw, and Eugene Kershaw; sisters, Jeanie Williams and Rose Kershaw; uncle, Tom Meeks; aunts, Emma Jean Jones and LeeGuster Meeks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, family, and friends.
