I was born January 14, 1972, to Pastor Hubert and First Lady, Rose Merry Lambert.
I was educated in the Raytown School District and received a Bachelors’ Degree in Communication from CMSU in Warrensburg, Missouri.
I was raised at the Faith Mission Church of God in Christ located at 3806 Prospect Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri where my father, Elder Hubert Lambert Sr. was pastor. At a very young age, the power of God was already manifest in my life. My dad was my greatest role model and influencer. I watched him and I believed he could do anything! I patterned myself after him and I wanted to be just like him. In 1977 the church moved to 901 Brush Creek Blvd. It was at that location where my ministry grew as I served as drummer, gospel singer, choir director, and preacher of God’s Word. Later, my father also afforded me the opportunity to be his personal radio announcer for his weekly radio broadcast, “Sunday Night Revivals” on KPRT 1590 on your radio dial! Those were the days! Souls were saved, delivered, and set free in those power packed services as God moved by His power and met us in each service!
In 1991 my father went to be with the Lord. Although a low time in my life, God favored me again and I was able to pastor and lead God’s people to greater heights and deeper depths in God as I walked in the calling of pastorship. I have proudly pastored in Kansas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. I have been blessed to evangelize all over the country impacting lives through revival, diligently studying God’s Word and praying for revelation. I asked God to lead me as I led His people. I asked God to use me as His vessel as I spread the good news of Jesus Christ. It was through those travels that I’m connected to some of God’s greatest ambassadors; Bishop Rance Allen, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor Ruby Holland, Bishop Elijah Hankerson and Bishop Lemuel Thuston just to name a few. Many times, I had to pause and just thank God for choosing me and for blessing me!
Although my time in this world was short, it was effective! It wasn’t perfect but it was purposeful. I lived, I loved, I laughed, and I thrived! My sense of humor and unique personality was God given and I tried to use it for His glory. I laughed a lot and I loved to make others laugh too. Life is short so laugh often and laugh loudly! The Bible says laughter is good like medicine!
So, after 51 years of doing this great work, it’s my time to say farewell. I bid farewell to my loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Rose Merry Lambert, my dear sister, Latrice and my beloved nephew, Braylen. Momma, I couldn’t have asked for a better mother. You are the epitome of a loving, endearing, and nurturing mom. You taught me, you corrected me, you supported me but most of all, you loved me. I couldn’t have done this thing called life without you. To my sister and very best friend, Latrice. The jokes never stopped! Ha! You cheered for me, and you cracked on me all at the same time, but it was all love. You were always in my corner, and you had my back no matter what. I love you for that. My nephew Braylen. Soar high! I’m so proud of you. Take care of your mother and look after Mee Maw. I love you all more than words can convey. Thuston Packnett Jr., my dear brother, Thuston. I’ll just say thank you my brother… Thank you. To my Aunt Everlena and Aunt Alice; to my many cousins, friends, and associates in the gospel… To my Extended Stay of America colleagues, my god brother, Ronald Roland and god sister, Renee Buffington, I love you all and wish you goodnight. My mission on earth is finished but my legacy will live on. Farewell and much love to you all. Selah!
Junior.
