Irene G Allen

Irene G. Wade Allen passed away June 16, 2018 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Ks. Irene was born on January 2, 1945 in Holden, Mo to Eldridge J. Wade and Clarissa E. Wade. The family moved to Kansas City, Mo in 1950. Irene attended Central High School of Kansas City, Mo she later graduated from Dickerson Business School where she received a degree in accounting.

Irene married Lon T. Allen (Skip) June 1963 where they resided in Ft Campbell, KY their union was dissolved in 1973. She returned to Kansas City, MO and became a member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in which she became a member of the Sr Choir. Irene enjoyed to crochet, puzzles, and drawing. She worked as a CNA for several years her last place of employment was KCI airport until her health began to fail.

Proceeding her in death was both parents Eldridge and Clarissa Wade, three brothers, and one niece.

Irene leave behind to cherish special memories three sisters Mildred J. Johnson, Isabella M. Turner, and Shirley A. Wade of (KCMO), one brother Clyde M. Johnson (Ft Dodge, IA) three Sister n Laws and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Irene also has family she leave behind in Texas.
