Isaiah Arnett Harris Jr (affectionately known as Kaiser & Coach Harris), 80 years old was born on September 28, 1939 in Paris MO to Isaiah Arnett Harris Sr. and Della Harris.  He peacefully departed this life on February 17, 2020. He was preceded in his homegoing by both parents, his son Isaiah Arnett Harris III, step-mother Jackie Harris, sister Nikki Harris, father-in-law, Charlie E. Sims Sr; brother in-laws, Charlie E. Sims Jr and James “J.C.” Sims,  sister-in-laws, Polita Johnson and Bernita Thomas McCain and a special aunt Addie Beechum that helped raise him.

Isaiah graduated from Paris High School in 1958 where he played basketball and football.  He went into the United States Army right after high school. After the completion of his time in the military, he moved to Kansas City MO, where he met his wife of 54 years, Clotee Sims Harris.  To this union three wonderful sons were born, Isaiah, Rommell and Kevin. He was a born again Christian, a supportive father, grandfather, brother, friend and mentor to many young men he coached.

Isaiah worked at Lakeside Ammunition plant, retired from the U.S. Postal Service after being employed for over 20 years as a mail handler, then retired from UMB Bank where he worked security and personal driver for C.E.O of UMB, Mr. Kemper.  He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. H. White, then Temple of Faith under the leadership of Rev. Cordell Moore until he moved his membership to New Vision Christian Church under the leadership of his youngest son the Rev. Dr. Kevin L Harris Sr. He was a faithful member of New Vision serving as Chairman of Elders and Chairman of Property Ministry.  During his life span he coached little league basketball, football and softball, for South Suburban where they went to the super bowl each year. He believed in keeping a very clean house and car at all times. He loved to hunt, go fishing and cook, especially for those grandkids who were the light of his eyes and would do anything for.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Clotee Sims Harris; sons, Rommell Harris;  Rev. Dr. Kevin L. Harris (Jennifer); brother Marcus Harris all of Kansas City Mo; sisters, Nevada M. Belton,(KCMO); Marla Harris Kelley (Paul) (Atchison KS); seven grandchildren, Isaitera Harris, Ashli Harris, Kevin Harris Jr, Rachel Harris, Sayrah Harris, Madisa Harris, Ri’Yahna Harris; brother- in-law Ronald Thomas (New Haven CT); sister- in-laws, Porchia Payton; Doretta Sims Kidd (Johnny) all of Kansas City, MO; CaChella Sims (San Antonio TX) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
