Issac J. Murrell, Sr.

Issac J. Murrell Sr., 54, passed away on August 10, 2026, at Overland Park Regional Hospital, in Overland Park, Kansas. Issac was born on July 23, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Myron Sallard and Denise Richardson.

Issac grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended Southwest High School. After high school he attended Job Corp in Kansas City, Missouri.

Issac entered the workforce after Job Corp. He began working for Long Motors Corporation, where he worked as a forklift operator for 20 years. At the end of a hard day’s work, Issac enjoyed listening to music and playing video games.

He was preceded in death by both parents: Myron Sallard and Denise Richardson; brothers: Myron Sallard Jr. and Nate Washington; cousin: Terrance Blewett, and grandmother: Earline Nelson.

He is survived by sons, Issac Murrell Jr. (Keaura Wotruba) and Isaiah Murrell (Leone’ Lewis); brothers: Ondre Murrell and Michael Sallard; grandchild: I’yanna Murrell; mother of his son and a special part of his life: April Blewett; special sister: LaTasha Blewett, and a host of other relatives and friends.
