Ja'Heim Du'Juan Stevenson, 22, passed away on October 18, 2025. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 15, 2003, to Rodney Gorham and Tracie Lynn Lovelady.
Ja'Heim was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, earning the equivalent of a high school diploma from the Division of Youth Services. He had a bright fun-loving spirit. He was very creative and shared his talents through his brilliant rapping lyrics, busting a rhyme at any given time. He was also a basketball star; he loved challenging anyone on the court and would definitely "take'em to da hoop".
Ja'Heim was loved dearly and ever so precious to his mother. He loved his family as well, and was a proud son, grandson, godson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Andrew Fry; his brother, Darryl Rogers Jr.; his sister, Tra'Vonne Thompson; his aunt, Judy Lovelady; his cousins: Otis Harris Jr. and Lance Lee Lovelady; and his great grandparents.
Left to cherish Ja'Heim's memory: his parents, Rodney Gorham and Tracie Lovelady; his siblings: Rodnae Gorham, Rodneysha Gorham, Darrion J. Taylor, Monique Dean and Alicilia Dean; his grandmother, Alsea Fry; his uncles: Gary Lovelady, Michael Lovelady and special uncle, Freddie Harris; his aunts: Kattie Harris and Julie Lovelady; his favorite cousins: Donovon, Jayden and T. J.; his godmothers: Renee Mosby and JuJuan Carter; his bonus brothers: Kenan, Kobe and Jason; his bonus cousins: Kadeem and Ladell; and a host of other loving relative and friends.
