Mr. James Bozeman was born on December 16, 1953 in Parkdale, Arkansas to Samuel & Mary Magdalene Bozeman. James father, mother, and 3 siblings preceded him in death.
James was raised by his grandmother, Silla V. Walker. He graduated from Slack LeGrande Senior High School in Wilmont, Arkansas in May of 1972.
After graduating, James enlisted into the Army and was stationed in Korea on September 11,1975, and was honorably discharged on September 13,1978. After his service in the Army, James worked for Lockheed Martin, where he later retired. He later worked for his brother at Niece’s Restaurant as a Cook for years until his health failed.
James had a love for all his family and friends. He would make sure he called and stayed in touch with everyone at least twice a week. If you received that phone call just know it was going to end with, I Love You. He loved to cook and entertain. James left this earthly life on Saturday morning, July 12, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memory; his brothers, William (Mae) Bozeman, Robert Bozeman, Perry (Denise) Ward, and Ephriam Ward, his sisters, Bernice (John) Brown, Odessa Foster, Leatrice Singleton, Willie Mae (Gary) Schwartz, Jo Etta Ogburn, Sandra Fowler, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
