James Brewster, Jr., departed this life on July 31, 2024, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on March 15, 1949, In Kansas City, Missouri to James Brewster, Sr., and Gladys Mae.
He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated from Sumner High School. After high school, he attended Penn Valley Community College and received a certificate in Business Administration.
James married Ellis Faye-Brewster on October 3, 1985. They were happily married for 38 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Brewster, Sr., and Gladys Mae; his brother, Arvelle Brewster; his sister, Arlene Brewster; and his nephew, Damen Brewster.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ellis Faye-Brewster, his sister, Jacqueline Milton-McDonald; his children, Sissy & Boochie, and a host of grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
