James Edgar Williams was born December 15th 1951 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Nathaniel and Ava Williams. He accepted Christ at a young age at the Allen Temple AM&E Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. James attended the Pine Bluff Arkansas public school system until graduating in 1969 from SouthEast High School it which he was very loyal.. Continuing his education at AM&N College/University Arkansas Pine Bluff, James graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. James faithfully worked as a break man and locomotor engineer for BNSF Railway for over 30 years, until his retirement in 2012. James enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a very interesting sense of humor. He was known to be direct, political, and a man with a lot of advice and opinions of which he was one who truly believe what he believed, and had no problems with sharing it. We will missed James. The man with the camera, always taking pictures of people in life true moments, His black history lessons and conversations. James is preceded in death by his parents, sister Drewnetta Watson, brother Jeremiah Williams, and nephew Carl Watson. He leaves to cherish his celebrated life: brother Nathaniel Williams (Naomi); niece Brandy Phillips (Ontario and Braelyn Phillips); nephews Larue, Carlos, and Julian Watson; niece Ann Bey; great nieces; great nephews; and a host of extended Pine Bluff and Kansas City, Mo family and friends.
