Jamesha Janae Brooks

Jamesha Janae Brooks, 25, passed away May 26, 2018 in Durant Oklahoma. She was born November 19, 1992 in Kansas City, Kansas to Christopher Carl Washington and African Angela Washington. Jamesha grew up and in Kansas City, Kansas and was educated in Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. She graduated from Schlagle High School in Kansas City, Kansas. After high school she attended Midwestern College in Overland Park, Kansas where she received her. She began for U.S. Postal Service as a mail sorter where she worked for 2 years. She was involved in Gateway High Steppers Drill Team of Kansas City, Kansas. She married Quentin Brooks on June 16, 2015 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for 3 years. She was preceded into death by her great grandmothers, Rose and May.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents; Angela and Carl Washington; eight siblings, Brittany, Boogie, Tae, Kam, Damien, Trae, Adrian, Andrea; two sister in-laws, Mish and Tikka; grandparents, Margaret, Emma, Ocie, Glayton and Maryann, she also leaves a special aunt who was just like a mother, Lisa Roark, and two favorite cousins, Destine and Kamerin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
