Jamiesha Griddine, 24, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Kansas City, MO. She was born on June 22, 1999, to LaTosha Coates.
She grew up in Kansas City, MO, where she graduated from Raytown High School.
Jamiesha was a joy to be around; she was so loving and caring and loved her family dearly.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age, and she also loved praise dancing. She was a member of G.R.A.C.E Fellowship Baptist church In Raytown, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her sibling, her brother JayCeon Coates, her great-grandfathers Henry C. Crockett and William Henry Earnest Griddine, her great-grandmother Mildred Griddine, uncles Micheal Warren, Charles Crockett, Rodney Griddine, Wendell Crockett, Johnny “Big John” McGowan, and Richard Lumpkins, aunts Tracie Lumpkins, Debra Griddine, Michelle Griddine, Leesa Williams, and Tiffany Griddine, cousins Christian Royal Crockett Sr., and Johnny McGowan II.
She is survived by her parents, mother LaTosha Coates and father, Gary Coates Jr.; her son, Dacoda Ballieu; daughter, Winter Ballieu, brother, Jamar Griddine; three sisters, Devan Murray, Jayden Coates, and Journey Coates; great-grandmother, Phylliss Crockett; grandparents Craig Griddine (Angela)” and grandmother Rachael Crockett, and a host of other relatives and friends.
