Janae Franshell Miles-Wright, 35, passed away on April 6, 2023, in Kansas City, MO.  And although, her passing was unexpected, faith and prayer trump the need for understanding via those that love her dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman C.  Miles (d. 05/04/2021) and Adrian C. Wright (d. 12/29/2020), Paternal Grandparents, James & Buelah Miles, Maternal Grandparents, Will & Evelyn Wright, her brother, Anthony “Tony” Miles, and several relatives near and dear to her.

Janae was born April 28, 1987, in Kansas City, KS to the loving home of her parents and Sister, Verne’ Wright (Kansas) where she remained a resident until she made Kansas City, Mo. Her home state until her passing.  She was educated in the Kansas City, Ks. Public School system and was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 2005.  She proudly loved being an alumnus of the Washington H.S and was pleased when her niece (Destiny Love) completed her education there as well. Following high school, Janae would attend Kansas City Kansas Community College working for her associates in Business Accounting.

Janae’s parents were avid proponents of education and entrepreneurship, that would be passed on to Janae as well, she consistently enjoyed exploring ways to create business opportunities for herself. She was a notary for both Kansas and Missouri, and a licensed Underwriter, specializing in midmarket accounts.

Janae’s beautiful laugh, and peaceful demeanor earned her multiple nick-names from those that loved her dearly; she earned the nickname “Cabbage Patch” based on the uncanny resemblance to the beloved doll when she was born, “Old-Timer & “Play-Mate from her maternal Grandparents because she had what they called an old soul and outlook on life, “Molly Pott’s” , from her parents because the song led to her forever remembered laugh, and of course “Jae Jae”, because she declared she was too young to be called aunty by all of her nieces and nephews.

Janae leaves to mourn her passing six siblings; Calvin (Robin)Miles, Ricky Miles, Rodney (Ramona)Derrick, Deborah (Barney) Hudson, Cheryl Miles, and Verne’ Wright, who considered Janae to be the BEST GIFT she ever prayed for, even if it took 10 years to receive, 27 Nieces & Nephews, (2 of which she grew up with; Destiny, and Dominick)  Sister cousins, LaShane’ Harper,  and McKenzie Williams, and a host of Aunts, Cousins, and friends.

~In my Fathers House are many rooms.  If it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you, and I will come again and receive unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also.
