Javaun Paul Caldwell, 48, passed on December 17, 2020 in San Diego, California. He was born on March 17, 1972 in Kansas City, MO to James Ellis Holmes and Sarah Lee Caldwell-Harris. Javaun grew up in Kansas City, MO. Javaun accepted Jesus Christ into his heart at 8 years old. Javaun graduated from Pleasant Green Community School in Kansas City, KS. After high school Javaun attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, MO, and Western Baptist Bible College in Kansas City, MO, where he received an Associates Degree. Javaun also studied music at KCK Community College. Javaun was a part of many things such as Program Director at JJ Caldwell Radio; Application Analyst; Music Publisher at American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers; Program Director at Mobile Radio Network; Recording Artist at American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers; Publisher at Broadcast Music, INC (BMI), Foundation Music CEO; and Marketing Manager at Sam’s Club, also worked as a DJ at KPRT Radio. Javaun later accepted his call to preach the Gospel and servced at the Corithian Baptist Church and also served at The Temple of Deliverance COGIC in Memphis Tennesse.

Javaun was preceded into death by his grandfathers; James Caldwell Sr., and Henry Holmes Sr., Grandmothers; Annie Bell Caldwell, Sr., and Ethel Mae Holmes.

Javaun is survived by his Father, James Ellis Holmes(Frankie) Mother, Sarah Caldwell-Harris(Pastor Vernon Lee Harris Sr.), Tiffini Bryant-Caldwell and their 3 children: Keivaun, Shamira, and Gabrielle; Deborah Walker and their two children: Aradaisia, and Daimone, his brother: Anthony Barnes, his sister; Shan Pinson; 8 aunts and 4 uncles, nieces, nephews, and host of other close relatives and close friends.
