Jeffery Alan Hill

Jeffery Alan Hill, 65, affectionately known as “Chef Jeff” passed away on November 30, 2024, at Parkview Nursing Home in Kansas City, MO. He was born on May 8, 1959, in Kansas City, MO to Raymond and Mary Hill. He was baptized at an early age at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO.

After high school he began working as a cook. After many years of pursing his passion for Italian cuisine, he became a chef working at Italian restaurants in the city; including Garozzo’s where the Hill Special was named in his honor. And finally, Cascone’s

When his health began to fail, he decided on a different career path. He became the ultimate grandfather. He enjoyed watching movies, sports and playing cards with his family. Jeff had a heart bigger than his infectious smile and a laugh that no one could imitate, even though many tried. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

His father, daughter LaTonya; her mother Emma, grandson Jayzin, sister-in-law Angie, stepfather Leroy, and his beloved grandparents all preceded him in death.

He is survived by the love of his life Robin, his mother Mary, his children: Kimberly, LaTasha, Jeffery (Victoria), Michelle, Diamond (Terrell), Sean (Stephanie), Mercedes, and Champaigne (Chris); his brothers and sisters: Cynthia (James), Winerford, Orissa, Priscilla (Douglas), and Stanley (Wendolyn); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
