Jeffrey Whitmore

Jeffery Londonale Whitmore was born on December 11, 2017 to Joe and Betty Whitmore in Kansas City, Kansas. Jeffery attended school in the Kansas City, Kansas School District 500 and graduated in the class of 1993 from Schlagle High School, where he played football.

Jeffery was employed at the City of Kansas City, Kansas, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and most recently employed at Liberty Fruit.

As a child Jeffery was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Kansas City, Kansas. Jeffery’s favorite colors were red and white. He enjoyed being around his family and his friends. He loved playing cards and watching football. If Jeffery saw a child that was in need, he would be the first to help them. He had a caring heart for others.

He departed this life on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Jeffery was preceded in death by his grandparents. Jeffery leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Joe and Betty Whitmore; a brother, Oscar D. Whitmore of Kansas City, KS; a god brother, Walter Anderson of Kansas City, KS; two daughters, Capria Connor of Kansas City, KS and Assere Whitmore of Kansas City, MO; five uncles, Alex (Flora) Jones of Jackson, MS, London Jones of Independence, MO, Billy Logan, Bobby Logan and Ricky (Pam) Logan all of Bastrop, LA; six aunts, Maxine Jones of Kansas City, KS, Vera (Bobby) Burkett of Mindenhall, MS, Collie Norwood and Dozie Jenkins of Braxton, MS, Peggy Logan of Arlington, TX and Mattie (Jim) Power of Kansas City, KS; special cousins, Loret-ta Winston and Reginald (Keshonnas) of Bastrop, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
