Jermaine Cleotha Jackson Sr. was born to the union of Cleotha and Toni (Talisa) Jackson on May 15, 1987, in Houston, TX. Jermaine, being the son of an active-duty serviceman of the United States Army, also lived in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Kansas City in 1996.
Jermaine and his family were members of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Grandview, Mo. where he was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age. Jermaine attended elementary school in Riverdale, Georgia. He attended Grandview Middle School in Grandview, Mo., and graduated from Ruskin Highschool in Kansas City, MO in 2005. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled in Longview Community College for an Associates in Automotive Technology & Collision Repair.
He had a genuine love for his dogs and cars. More specifically old school cars. He was intrigued by how they worked and the technique of refurbishing them.
Jermaine began working at Jackson Style Agency LLC at an early age as a direct care staff. He worked at the Kansas City School District in the Building & Grounds Dept. He was always led by his entrepreneurial spirit and formed Crash Dummie Towing and Auto Repair Center and BodyShopMuziKc Studios. Mann was never afraid of hard work and full of ideas.
Jermaine is described by his mother as a breath of life. He was her ray of sunshine in the day. He was his father's joy. Mann as his family calls him was creative, loving, kind, respectful, intelligent and a true family man with a great sense of humor. He was a consummated dreamer who was always willing to assist anyone that needed a hand. He was always busy. His mother called him the “road runner”. He never let the dust settle under his feet.
Jermaine was a unique wordsmith. He met no strangers and loved helping others any way he could. Mann had a passion for music. More than that he enjoyed listening to and creating good music. His crafty way of connecting words and phrases coined him the name “Doe Majikc”. He was a real lyricist sharing knowledge through his music.
Jermaine leaves to cherish his memory, Cleotha, and Toni ‘Talisa’ Jackson (parents) of KCMO.
Children: Jermaine Cleotha Jackson Jr, Jermiah Mykel Jackson, and Jade Jeilyn Toni Jackson, all of which are his greatest pride and joy! He loved his children more than life itself.
