Jerone Dunnell Weathers was the first-born child to Carmen Weathers and Jerome Dunnell on October 13, 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the elder brother to Walter, Arro and JoDahn (who preceded him in death). Jerone attended Ruskin High School and graduated on May 14, 2003.

As a teen, Jerone worked at Starlight Theatre where he met the love of his life, LaDonna Bright. Jerone and LaDonna were married on April 21, 2018. Jerone was a devoted and hardworking family man who loved his children: Aniyeja, JaDa, Jerone Jr. and Jay’Ron.

Jerone worked in logistics and freight management but his true passion was music and mentoring. Jerone was a lyricist. He loved to write music and make beats. He enjoyed history, sharing stories and could discuss anything with anyone. He was a people person, opinionated and passionate, yet gentle and kind. If you had Jerone as a friend, he was a friend to the end.
