Joana Evette Buckner entered this world April 10, 1961 to Patricia J. Buckner and Thomas E. Copridge in Kansas City, MO. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, grandfather Goodrich Buckner, grandmother Wilma Bell, Apostle Verlee Saunders, Ruppert Bell "Corky", brother Rodney E. Bell "Peanut Butta", and nephew Joseph H. Hunter. Joana accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Southeast High School. At that time she was blessed with one son, Theus Marques Lamar Buckner, with Ricardo Johnson. She was employed at CSL Plasma. Joana enjoyed life, her family, 2 steppin', laughing, cooking, traveling, and playing cards. She was a lively person that got enjoyment out of helping others, but most of all she loved her son. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Theus Buckner (Dierra). Three grandchildren, De'Onte Buckner, Raquel Alex-Buckner , and Theus Buckner Jr. Four sisters Stephanie D. Buckner, Penny Beard(Delta), Denise Copridge, R. Chevelle Hall. Three brothers, Edward L. Buckner Sr.(Angie), Tommy Williams, Rodney Copridge, and Vincent Edwards. A host of family, friends, nieces, nephews, cousins. And her extended family, The Freemans.
