Joann E. Maynard

JoAnn Maynard, 68, passed away on 1/24/2024 at Highland Nursing Home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on 6/2/1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl Maynard, Jr., and Ida Martin. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

JoAnn was a loving mother and homemaker, which she did for many years.

JoAnn was preceded into death by both parents, paternal & maternal grandparents; her brother Carl Maynard III, her nephew Willie Reaws III, her niece April Reaws, and a host of aunts & uncles.

JoAnn is survived by her Sons: Patrick Maynard (Stacy), Michael Maynard, Danny Maynard; Grandchildren: Mikeah Maynard-Willingham, Michael Maynard, Jr., and Breanna Hatten (Antioneo); five Great grandchildren; her Sisters: Sharon Whiteside of Kansas City, MO., Bonnie Stone-Gray (Terry) of Kansas City, MO.; Brothers: Orville Maynard (Annette) of Kansas City, MO. and Kent Maynard of Omaha, NE.; Aunts: Tommie Holinshed of Kansas City, MO. and Minnie Maynard of Kansas City, MO.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
