Joanne E. Robinson

Joanne E. Robinson, 74, passed away on January 6, 2024, at St. Lukes Plaza Hospital, in Kansas City, MO. She was born on October 29, 1949, in St. Louis, MO to Esker Davis and Viola Perry. She grew up in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Vashon High School in St. Louis, MO. After moving to Kansas City, Joanne attended Penn Valley Community college, along with starting her work career at Crown Center and Marriott Hotel as a cafeteria supervisor, followed by Sears – Roebuck customer service department. She also worked for Amazon as a dock worker then moved on to another challenge working for Centerpoint Medical Center located in Independence, MO, as patient care supervisor, where she then retired on December 20, 2015. She also volunteered with Archwell Medical Group.

Joanne loved life and lived it to the fullest, especially traveling with her natural and church family. She attended Trinity Baptist Church where she served faithfully over 25 years plus. She was a devoted and diligent worker and worked many areas of the ministry, she loved good gospel music and truly loved the lord. She was preceded into death by father - Esker Davis, mother - Viola Perry, two brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by three sisters, Deborah Jones(Ben), Connie Harris, Annette Davis from St, Louis, MO, four children Lennette Broom, David Robinson (Janet), Jermaine Robinson, and Andrea Robinson of Kansas City, MO, Thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
