Joel Leon Bradley, Sr.

On Sunday, May 11th, 2025, Joel Leon Bradley Sr., affectionately known as, "Paw Paw", made his way back home to Heaven.

Joel Sr. was born Thursday, July 31,1941 to his mother Nadine Maddox. Joel Sr. grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He was formerly married to Mary Francis McMullen. They had two children together.

Known for his great work ethic, Joel Sr. spent many years working at Midwest Chandelier Company in Fairfax, Kansas. He eventually moved on to work for the Kansas City Water Services Department in Pollution Control until he retired. In his retirement, he could often be found assisting his son Joel Jr. at Bradley Industries.

Joel Bradley Sr. was a Kansas Citian through and through. Some of his loves were barbecue, soul food, and listening to music. He also cherished his spotless Lincoln Continentals.

In his later years, Joel Sr. gave his life to Christ. He enjoyed listening to Pastor Joel Olsteen preach and spent time watching Christian Television and listening to Christian Music.

Joel Sr. is survived by: his three children: Harriet Bradley (Ronnie), Joel Bradley Jr. (Shonda) and Marlon Edwards; grandchildren: Brandon Johnson (Erica), Jodi Bradley, Ellis Edwards: great grandchildren: Marissa Johnson, Brandon Johnson; bonus grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
