John Quincy Adams Adair Jr., 81, was born February 24, 1940 and passed away on Good Friday, April 2, 2021.
He received his education in Gadsden, Alabama and graduated from Carver High School in 1959. After High School he moved to Kansas City, Mo. in 1961.
He met the love of his life, Betty Dallas and they were married on July 1, 1967. To this union two children were born, Terri Lynn & Guy Dallas.
John was a beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was well known and loved in his community. He was a very quiet and soft-spoken person that loved to entertain and attend family functions. John had many talents, driving was one of them. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching boxing, football, & baseball. His hobbies included collecting knives, guns, coins and art.
He was preceded in death by his Father, John Sr.
He is survived by his wife Betty; one daughter, Terri Lynn; one son Guy Dallas (Dawnena) of West Jordan, Utah; his Mother Christine Adair of Gadsden, Alabama; three Sisters, Shirley Scott of Gadsden, Alabama and Ernestine and Norma Adair both of Baltimore, Maryland. One Brother, Larry Adair of Gadsden, Alabama. Two Granddaughters Tehya Clark and Olivia Clark both of West Jordan, Utah. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
