John D. Calata

John DeAngelo Calata, 31, passed away September 8, 2017 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on November 16, 1985 in Kansas City, Missouri to John Welch and Irene Welch. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from J.C. Harmon High School.

He was preceded into death by his (Great Grandma), Grananny, Grandfather; Macario Calata Jr.; and uncle Gregory Welch Sr.

Words to Describe John. Loyal, Caring, Optimistic, Brave, Passionate, Loved Unconditionally. He was the rock of the foundation, brought out the best in people, gave his love with no strings attached. He would give you the shirt off his back no questions asked. Fatherhood was the best times of his life not only to his children but to also his family and friends.

John is survived by his Mother; Irene Welch; Children; Jaliyah Calata, Jaydon Calata, Jordan Calata, Brother; Jeremy Calata; Sister’s; Cattinna Calata and Catterra Calata, Grandmother; Mama Jean, Grandmother; Jewell Welch, and Grandfather; Papa Trammel and a host of other relatives and friends.
