John Anthony Fox was born to the union of Jimmie Fox and Alvistine (Browning) Fox on November 30, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri. John passed away on May 3, 2021, at KU Medical Center, in Kansas City, KS. His Father Jimmie Fox preceded him in death.
John Graduated from Paseo High School in 1987, and remained close to the Class of “87”.
John was united in marriage to the “Love of His Life”, Charon (Craig) Fox on May 17, 1997 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were married for 24 years, and met when John was 19 years old and Charon was 15 years old. In their union they had one daughter Jade Danielle Fox.
John was extremely proud that he and his wife were the first to purchase a new home in a newly developed subdivision within the Grandview area. John enjoyed spending time at home with family, assembling model cars & trains, listening to music and “tinkering” with his electronics. John was a classy & sharp dresser, he loved Cadillac cars, and had a passion for music. He had a beautiful singing voice, and enjoyed singing songs written by some of his favorite musical artists like Stevie Wonder, Gerald Levert & Luther Vandross.
In 2019 a new love was again added to John’s life, his first grandson was born, “RJ Anthony Fox Williams”. John spent many days enjoying his Grandson, RJ will truly miss his “Paw-Paw”. John was an extremely hard worker, he dedicated 24 years of service at BNSF Railroad.
John had an unconditional love for Christ and he was a member of Concord Fortress of Hope Church.
John is survived by his loving wife, Charon Fox. He leaves to cherish in his memory: His Mother Alvistine Fox, his beautiful daughter Jade Danielle Fox (Son-In-Law to be RaShawn Williams), one precious grandson RJ Anthony Fox Williams, mother and father in law Matthew and Francine Ray, his siblings: Alvernon Fox (Lacenia), Jimmie Fox, Ladina Saxton (Ronald) of Atlanta, Georgia, Larisa Frazier (Henry), Marvin Fox (Yvonne) and Kevin Fox (Bridgette). His Special Aunt Geraldine Potter of Dimond Dale, MI. and a host of loving niece’s, nephew’s, aunts, uncles, cousins, railroad buddies, and many other lifelong friends.
In lieu of monetary gifts the family request memorial donations be made in honor of John’s grandson “RJ” be sent to Burlington Northern Community Credit Union. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to KU Medical Center (Intensive Care Unit), BNSF Railroad, and Midwest transplant Network.
