Jolynn Brown

Jolynn Brown was born November 16, 1953 to the Union of Malcolm and Isabelle Smith in Kansas City Missouri.

She was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District and finished her educational training as a mighty Lincoln High School Tiger.

As fate would have it Jolynn posed as a damsel in distress and right down the street from home was her Knight in shining amour.  Jolynn said yes to the famous question and married Mr. Michael Brown in 1972.

To this Union one son was born.  The arrival of little Craig made her feel complete.

Her career life was spent at the KU Medical Center for 23 years as an Operating Room Technician until retiring to do what she enjoyed most being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and an excellent homemaker.

Jolynn loved The Lord and enjoyed serving and helping others. She enjoyed helping others so much that she became a bone marrow and tissue donor and she encouraged others to do the same.

Jolynn has been a proud and supportive member of the Community Fellowship Church of Jesus Christ for over 24 years where she served diligently and proudly as an usher for over 20 years until her health began to fail. Not only did Jolynn love and cherish her husband Michael and her family;  she loved mankind and was a kind person even to strangers.

She was preceded in death by both parents and several in laws of whom have greeted her now in *Glory*.

Left to cherish fond memories is her devoted husband Michael Brown of the home, her loving son Craig Brown (Janell), one granddaughter Iesha Brown, three great-grandchildren; Shanae, Anthony and Antonio all of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Jolynn will be missed forever by many.
