Jordan Nichole Gipson was born on September 24, 1994, in Cape Girardeau, MO to Scott and Alanna Gipson.
Jordan grew up in Overland Park and Olathe, KS. She attended Olathe East High School in Olathe, KS. After high school she followed in her dad’s footsteps and entered into the restaurant business working at McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Fire Birds, The Brew Top and YaYa’s European Bistro.
Jordan was the mother of Christopher and Jameson Cooper and an honorary mother to Tatum Cooper. She loved spending time with her children reading books, watching Disney movies and spending time at arcades.
Jordan loved hanging out with her closest friends, dancing, listening to music, singing, practicing makeup looks, making TikTok’s, and watching American Idol with her family.
Jordan had a huge heart and a bigger than life personality. She was charismatic, strong-willed, and loved to make people laugh. She always dreamed big and made sure she was the life of the party.
Jordan was called home on Wednesday May 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Clora Gatewood and her paternal grandmother Jeanetta Robinson. She will be missed by all and leaves to cherish her memory: her sons Christopher Cooper, Jameson Cooper, honorary daughter, Tatum Cooper; father, Scott Gipson; mother, Alanna Gipson; sister, Svannah Gipson; grandfather, Dwight Gatewood; father of her children Britton Cooper and a host of caring aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
