Joseph S. Banks

Joseph S. Banks was born on September 2, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to Georgia and Norman Banks. As a youth he attended W.W. Yates, R.T. Cole’s and Manual High Schools in the Kansas City, Missouri public school system. Over the years, he worked as a “silk presser” in several cleaners throughout the greater Kansas City area.

Joseph departed this life on April 7, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and son. He leaves to cherish his memory, his ex-wife Wanda Kincaid-Banks, two daughters, Cheryl Kincaid and Carleen Wash, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
